The food was so delicious and the service was excellent. We dined in and we got our food quickly. Everything exceeded our expectations and the vegan options were great. The restaurant was really cute inside and the staff couldn't have been sweeter or more helpful. I would highly recommend!

we just moved to portland and we are making it a mission to find our neighborhood staples. we're looking for the best coffee shops, the best mexican restaurant, the best carneceria to buy meat, and the best chinese food. i saw kung pow and read some of the reviews and i'll be honest, i was definitely nervous. it didn't look like some people had the best experience. but i refuse to define my portland experience by others, so we decided to check it out! the space is big. parking nearby too! it's a good space for a birthday celebration or even a first date! a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood are preparing for lunar new year so i love seeing the decorations. service and hosts were kind and quick to answer any questions! we started with the pan pacific wontons (fresh crab, cream cheese). my partner wasn't a big fan of them (which made me nervous about the entrees) but i liked them! now for the big meals.. i ordered the beef and broccoli with steamed rice and kevin ordered the clay pot pork belly ma po and y'all.... this was the best meal we've had since being here. we were STUFFED! i could not get enough of BOTH! the beef in the beef and broccoli was tender. and the house made soy sauce was perfection!! i only wish their was a spicer option!!! the clay pot pork belly was the star of the show. even without the pork belly, the tofu and the SAUCE made this EVERYTHING! such a good spice, tender pork belly, that spicy bean sauce tied everything together. meals are about $10-20 per person, they offer vegetarian and vegan meals as well! we had no leftovers. we will be coming back!
